Hermes Personal Assistant is a private, personal-use productivity application operated by Frank Ducharme. It is not offered as a public service.
When explicitly authorized by the account owner, Hermes may access information from Google services including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Contacts.
Hermes accesses this information only to provide personal productivity features requested by the account owner, such as summarizing information, identifying relevant events or messages, organizing personal context, and supporting authorized automations.
Google user data is used only to provide the application's intended personal assistant functionality. Data is not sold, rented, or used for advertising, marketing profiles, or unrelated purposes.
Selected information may be processed by service providers used to operate Hermes, including AI processing services, when necessary to perform requested assistant functions. Such processing is limited to providing the application's functionality.
Hermes may store limited information locally on systems controlled by the account owner, including application state, derived summaries, task information, configuration, and operational records needed for the application to function. Raw Google account data is retained only when necessary for an authorized feature and is minimized where practical.
Hermes does not sell Google user data or share it with advertisers. Information is disclosed only to service providers necessary to perform requested application functions, or when required by law.
Access to Google services is granted through Google OAuth. The account owner may revoke Hermes' access at any time through Google Account security settings.
Because Hermes is a personal-use application, the account owner controls the systems on which Hermes stores its local data and may delete that information at any time. Google authorization may also be revoked independently.
Hermes Personal Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
